MikroTik RouterOS v6.45.1 disponible con importantes correcciones en seguridad.

Se ha publicado el RouterOS v6.45.1, el cual incorpora grandes arreglos a nivel de seguridad, tal como ha sido anunciado por MikroTik.

En total son 6 correcciones CVE de vulnerabilidades relacionadas con las encontradas por los ingenieros de Netflix y las de explotación en IPv6.

Es importante tener en cuenta que este nuevo release del rOS tiene un nuevo sistema de almacenamiento de contraseñas, el cual no es compatible con versiones anteriores, por lo que si se realiza un downgrade se limpiarán las contraseñas de todos los usuarios. Tener las precauciones necesarias al momento de hacer un downgrade.

Otra nueva funcionalidad en esta versión es el soporte de 802.1X Port-Based network control, que ha hemos mencionado en una noticia anterior.
